  • Easy to grow.
  • Harvest in 35-50 days
  • Sow in garden. Sow seed at a depth approximately three times the diameter of the seed.
  • Best planted at soil temperatures between 10°C and 30°C.
  • Space plants: 15-20cm

Mitzuna and Mibuna are both grown for their leaves. Fast growing plants which have a mild mustardy flavour when young.

Tolerates light shade. Tends to bolt in hotter weather. Grows well in pots and containers - keep mulched and well-watered.

Culinary hints - cooking and eating Mitzuna

Leaves used raw, stir-fried, in soups. Young flowering stems can be cooked like broccoli.
